Blackdown Orthopaedic and Spinal Service is a partnership between Orthopaedic Surgeons, Spinal Surgeons and their Anaesthetist colleagues, the Staplegrove Anaesthetic Group (SAG).

Blackdown Orthopaedic and Spinal Services

We are able to provide a full spectrum of surgical treatment for all skeletal conditions and offer a solution to commissioning organisations in the South and West. We are located in Taunton at the foot of the Blackdown Hills and for this work we primarily use the excellent facilities of the Nuffield Hospital, Taunton. We strictly adhere to the “Best Practice” codes of the British Orthopaedic Association particularly with regard to joint arthroplasty and spinal instrumentation.
